I started working for Future Fresh as a teller with zero retail industry knowledge. Navigating retail was not easy for me in the beginning because of it’s demanding nature and long hours of trading,
I however had to adapt quickly to the culture and absorb as much knowledge on retail and business as I could. Today I’ve managed to work myself up to a floor supervisor and office administrator position. I am thankful for Future Fresh for affording me the opportunity to learn and make mistakes and contributing to my growth as an individual.
I have gained ample skills and competencies that will help me propel my career into the business industry.
I thoroughly enjoy my job and I’m excited to be apart of this dynamic team as we expand and grow to trade on an international scale.

Group Accountant
I am currently the group accountant but my journey with Future Fresh comes from humble beginning. I was an undergraduate student when I started working for a Future Fresh as a teller.
I left the company to go and finish my post graduate diploma in South Africa and upon return to Namibia I immediately joined the company as a junior accountant. The journey has been extremely fulfilling being part of a young company that currently navigates its way through a tough industry.
Future Fresh has aided my journey as an accountant and has helped me to grow as an individual .I am proud to be part of this team and more excited to see how far we really go.

My journey with Future Fresh has been remarkable, I am grateful for the support and guidance from the team and the chance they afford me to be heard.
It has not always been easy but through hard word and dedication I went from being a teller and worked my up to assistant manager of our newly opened store in Otjomuise Ext. 5. Working whilst studying has catapulted my thinking and I am thankful to Future Fresh for supporting my growth.
Not only has it molded me into the person I am today, but it has also taught me to be resilient, discipline and goal oriented, my motto is “the secret to getting ahead, is getting started.” – Mark Twain.

Our CSR initiatives are run by our group foundation – The Future Foundation. Future Fresh Retail is committed to integrating sustainability into our everyday business decisions to enable our associates, customers and stakeholders to create better lives, vibrant neighborhoods, and a healthier planet.
